Generic terms are in each case determinate but they are not "defined." In this sense, they have their position not within a dictionary but a glossary. A dictionary is a compendium of reified conventional meanings, whereas a glossary is a real-time network of inventional meanings, or obviations.* **The Universe:** The Real, as it exists without necessary reference to Nature or the World. **The World:** The impersonal order of Modern social life, which is constantly indexed in the Modern form of talk. **Nature:** The background of literal reference in any Modern talk, an animalized or ahuman impersonal condition upon which the Modern grounds their authority to speak about the Real. **The Moderns:** Those who take themselves to have superseded the Center of the Universe, to have “transcended” it or surpassed it. **The Ancients:** Those who take themselves to be at the Center of the Universe, as unsupercedable, and from which they compose their social life and experience of the Universe. **The Center:** Where the Human is. Must be seen as “non-dual,” as simultaneously positively at the Center and at the same time superposed with others also at the Center, or “polycentrically.” **The Sky-Earth System:** A generic cosmology that never leaves the Center of the Universe, or the construction of a space-time that is conformal to it. The literal background frame to be figured in description; replaces the Modern’s Nature. **Sky:** The encompassing surface or container in which all thought and life happens, and the unextended Origin from which any space and time emerged at the Beginning. It is itself the same as the Center of the Universe, as the Original Sky. **Earth:** The horizontal plane of experience, or a kind of star or orb as it is seen in the Sky [a planet], upon which we are living. **The Ocean:** The wave of superposition, the analogical flow as it crosses the Center. The Ocean is itself a reflection of the Sky as it appears under the Earth or at the edge of the horizon. It also appears as the night Sky or the dark depths of the Ocean. **The Underworld:** The same as the Sky, as the Sky passes beneath the Earth in its rotation. **The Original Sky:** The Center itself prior to the division of Sky and Earth, the abode of the Gods and also of the Human. **The Other side of the Sky:** The way the unextended ‘point’ that is the Center appears simultaneously as beyond the limits of finite perception, identical to the Original Sky and to the Center. **The Animal:** The horizontal parameter of the Sky-Earth System, the Human as they appear perspectivally across a horizontal relation upon the plane of the Earth. **The God:** The vertical parameter of the Sky-Earth System, the Human as they appear perspectivally across a vertical relation along the World Tree that connects the Sky and the Earth. Also, the Center-in-itself, or the Human themselves, as seen from the Original Sky. **The Human:** The crossing-place of the animal and the God, where the vertical and horizontal axes intersect in the person. **The Plant:** The articulated complexity of the Sky-Earth System, or the interactions of the Human-animal-God grown outward, flourishing as a life-form. **The World Tree:** What appears when the space between Sky and Earth is seen from the Center, what realizes the Original Sky within the posterior division of Sky and Earth. What holds up the Sky. **The House:** Toy model that shows the People conformal with Themselves, as one skin, whether as Household, Longhouse, Boat, Temple, University, Pyramid. **Common=X:** The collective intimacy of thinking together at the Center, in reciprocal invention. **Science:** A thinking that is autonomous in so far as it indexes simply the Center of the Universe, rather than the World-authorities. **Superposition:** The combination of worlds and images that works without exclusion or competition between them. **Invention:** The creation of new images in the obviation of other ones. **Mythologiques:** The permutational matrix of any Human image as it is composed within the coordinates of the Sky-Earth System. **Toy Model:** A scale-model of a generic cosmology, a simplified set of forms to specify a meta-frame applicable anywhere. **The Mars Rover:** Exemplifies the minimality of the Center, and the perceptual experience of the Human at the Center of the Sky-Earth System on any planet. The Mars Rover’s camera looks out on the Sky-Earth System. **The Star:** The reflection of the Center of the Universe inside of the Sky, appearing as an orb inside the Sky’s container. **The Black Hole:** The return of the Star to the Other side of the Sky that mirrors and is the same as the return of the Human to the Center. **Holographic Principle:** The concept that the interior volume of a space can be described in terms of its surface. The interior of the Sky-Earth System is described in terms of the Sky, which itself is the Center. **Conformal:** Scale-invariant, preserving the geometrical shape of images across scales. **Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC):** A model of the Universe developed by Roger Penrose in which the Universe returns cyclically to its beginning, due to its resolution into a conformal or scale-invariant geometry. Combined with the holographic principle, the conformal surface of the Sky is shown to be the same as the Center, or the Beginning. **Civilization:** The People as they compose themselves in the Houses, Temples, Pyramids, and Cities as they are laid across the Landscape. **Stranger-King:** The King who stands for any person, who comes from the Sky (or across the horizon, or the Ocean) so as to show the God in the Human. The Wandering Hero, and Christ. **Prophet:** The one who speaks and thinks from the Center, so as to show the Human in the God. **The Landscape:** The topography of the Earth as it is Peopled by Wandering Heroes, and as it is seen from the Center. **Regional System:** An integrated system of different Peoples mirroring each other across and as the Landscape. **Multiregional Hypothesis (MRE):** The hypothesis that Humans evolve everywhere polycentrically. The unification of physical and cultural anthropology without reliance on these terms, but inside of the Sky-Earth System. The history of the Human with geology suspended. **Human evolution:** The [his]story of the Human as emerging already there at the Center. Continually evolving back [CCC] into Ancients. **Children of Sky and Earth:** The lattice of Human regional systems [MRE] across the entire history of life. **The Story:** The stories the People themselves tell to invent themselves as Human. They are the same as their marriage patterns and social systems [lives]. **Out-of-Africa:** The Moderns' Myth of the World and of the Human within it. The racism of the World[-System]. **Melazonia:** A site of Ancient Civilization where symmetric anthropologies of the Ancients have crossed. The result of Ancient Sahulian and South American exchanges. **Galactic Polity:** A polycentric social system, where each person and society is at the Center of the Universe, and may act as Human, animal, and Gods to each other. **Confederation of Animals:** A system of Animals reflecting each other inside of the conformal House [Universe]. **The Anthill:** the Generic Human Pyramid, the People organized as a collective fractal Person. **The Giant:** The Person who takes themselves to be bigger than the Person, and who appears as an impersonal and dominating image, sowing fear and insufficiency. **Headhunting:** Immanent obviation of the World. Thinking-with the Enemy’s point of view. The generic act of taking and suspending a talking head, in order to enter symmetric exchange [thinking-with] so as to re-compose the Human at the Center. **Head-Skin-Name:** A generation, or unit, of the Human experience to think-with; an x-expression composed of a [space]time series of images [episode] read and evaluated in the First Person. **Great Man:** The one who reproduces their head-skin-name as a conformal head-skin-name, a site for other head-skin-name. The Great Man is the proper name in the Sky-Earth System; the Big Man is the proper name in the World. **The Child:** Results from the marriage of the Mother and Father. In warfare, is taken as a Head. Both are planted so as to regrow the Human as World Tree. **Anatomical Ancient:** The one who is standing [at the Center] between the Sky and the Earth. The morphological structure of the generic Ancient, holographically projected as the Sky-Earth System. **Anthropology:** The Human science of the Human. Re-describing the unity of anthropology: - [physical anthropology] the description of the Peoples as a system of Animals evolving across the face of the Earth and within the Sky-Earth System. - [sociocultural anthropology] the description of the social systems the Peoples organize themselves in [Anthills] [Civilizations] - [linguistics] the forms of talk that the Peoples employ as they think with each other [Sky-Earth pidgin] - [archaeology] the re-composition of the history of the Human as left in their traces along the Landscape [Wandering Heroes] **Genetics:** The exchange of animal-parts between the Peoples, within the space of marriage and [headhunting]. The permutational matrix of the Human units as circulated within a system of Animals.
